Production Planner

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner with a strong background in the food manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to ensure optimal efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
• Monitor and adjust plans based on changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or production constraints.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and quality teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging.
• Utilize ERP/MRP or SAP systems to manage production planning and inventory control.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the planning process.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and capacity utilization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in production planning within the food industry (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP or SAP systems for planning and scheduling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Desirable:

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
