Are you an outstanding and specialist Music Teacher with a deep understanding of musical theory, performance, and composition, passionate about developing the next generation of talented musicians and academic scholars? Our Outstanding school in London is seeking a highly motivated Full-Time Teacher of Music to join our dynamic and successful Performing Arts department from September 2025. This is a superb opportunity to deliver rigorous and engaging lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE Music), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Music or relevant vocational qualifications), with a significant emphasis on high-level performance and academic achievement.

In this crucial full-time role, with a strong focus on A-Level Music and extracurricular performance, you will:

* Deliver Exceptional Music Education: Teach challenging and inspiring Music topics, fostering deep conceptual understanding, advanced performance techniques, and sophisticated compositional skills in our students.

* Broaden Musical Horizons: Introduce students to advanced theoretical concepts, diverse musical repertoires, and contemporary musical practices, encouraging them to develop their own informed musical identity.

* Cultivate Advanced Practical Skills: Lead sophisticated practical workshops and direct high-level ensembles, building students' confidence and proficiency in complex musical processes and preparing them for external examinations and public performances.

* Maximise Student Achievement: Be instrumental in ensuring excellent student outcomes in GCSE and A-Level Music, preparing students for highly competitive conservatoires, universities, and successful careers in the music industry.

* Innovate within a Collaborative Department: Join a supportive and experienced team of Music specialists, sharing expertise and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Music curriculum and resources, particularly within A-Level provision and performance opportunities.

* Inspire Future Musicians & Scholars: Play a key role in guiding students with a passion for music towards fulfilling careers and further study, fostering their unique artistic vision and commitment to musical excellence.

We are looking for a passionate and qualified Music Teacher with QTS and an excellent academic background in Music (performance, composition, or theory). Proven experience teaching Music to A-Level and a demonstrable track record of directing successful ensembles (e.g., choir, orchestra, jazz band) is essential.
