Dalgety Bay Care Home is a purpose built care home located in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 68 residents, the home offers a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where team members can make a meaningful difference every day.
Team Leader - Dayshift and Nightshift
- £15.00 per hour
- Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
- Dayshift and nightshift available
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As Team Leader, this role plays a key part in ensuring the delivery of high quality, person centred care across the home. Leading by example, you will support residents with compassion and respect while guiding the care team to maintain consistently high standards across both day and night shifts.
Working closely with the wider team, the role involves overseeing daily care delivery, supporting residents with personal care and promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing. You will ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and up to date, reflecting each resident's individual needs.
The role includes supervising and supporting Care Assistants, providing direction, encouragement and practical guidance throughout each shift. Strong communication is essential, working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and colleagues to maintain a safe, positive and supportive environment at all times.
What We Are Looking For
- SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Medication administration training and competency
- Previous experience leading or supporting a care team
- A compassionate, professional and person centred approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
