Project Manager – ERDG Zero Carbon Communities Location: Didsbury, Manchester Salary - £37,004 per annum 35 hours per week – 2 year fixed term contract Southway Housing Trust is a Community based housing organisation, based in Didsbury, managing and improving approximately 6,000 homes in South Manchester.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to deliver an exciting and ground breaking project as part of our Assets and Compliance Team.
Southway Housing are seeking ERDF (European Regional Development Funding) grant of £ for a low carbon housing innovation project, which will see the installation of renewable heating, upgraded insulation and a programme of community engagement across a full neighbourhood.
A project manager is required to support the compliant and timely delivery of the ; The successful candidate will need to demonstrate outstanding project management skills and experience relating to management of information systems for audit ; The successful candidate will lead on the project and work directly with the project consultant and project delivery team and contractors to ensure project deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget The successful project manager will: Procure and work with the project consultant to develop a project specification and support contractor procurement Project Manage the scheme both on site and wider community to ensure they are delivered within the budget and timeframes.
Monitor and report on project activity and delivery to the ERDF Project Board Implement and maintain robust claims and compliance systems and processes Lead on preparation of ERDF quarterly claims and the documentary audit trails, fulfilling the requirements of both funder and financial audit protocols Develop a community engagement programme and ensure neighbourhood ‘buy in’ Engage with project stakeholder organisations to develop and maintain excellent working relationships ensuring effective management of the project to support delivery of outputs Closing Date: 6 th November 2020 Interview Date: 16 th & 17 th November 2020 Strictly no agencies.
