SEND Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School - Oldham - £100/day - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant secondary school in Oldham. This full-time role is available to start immediately, with a daily pay rate of £100.

We are seeking a passionate individual who is committed to supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the school's SEND team to deliver focused support that helps students thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing individual and small group support for students with SEND, including those with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs.

Assisting in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans.

Supporting classroom activities and helping to adapt resources to meet the needs of learners.

Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Monitoring and recording student progress, and liaising with teaching staff and the SENDCo.

Requirements:

Applicants must have prior experience working in a school or educational setting.

A strong understanding of SEND and strategies to support diverse learning needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach to working with young people.
