Your new role

• Choose a work pattern that works for you-whether you're looking for regular full-time cover or occasional part-time days
• Deliver engaging lessons tailored to KS1 learners, using resources provided by the school
• Support children in developing key skills in phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and social interaction
• Leave clear, helpful notes for the class teacher to ensure smooth continuity
• Foster a warm and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence
• Confidently follow school policies on behaviour and marking, maintaining consistency and care

What you'll need to succeed

• Availability for flexible or ongoing supply work
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• An engaging presence in the classroom and strong communication skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively with support staff and follow school routines
• A teaching approach that adapts to different learning styles and pupil needs
• A professional, positive attitude when interacting with children, staff, and families
