KS1 Teacher
Location: Nottingham (NG5)
Start Date: After Easter
Contract: Part-time
Salary: £150-£200 per day

Class Mate is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NG5 area of Nottingham seeking a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis after the Easter break.

The Role

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with national curriculum expectations
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment
• Support pupils' early development in phonics, literacy and numeracy
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Passionate about supporting early learning and development
• Committed to creating engaging and inclusive lessons

Requirements

• QTS and relevant teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to provide two professional references
