Reed/Lancashire Teaching Agency is seeking a KS2 Teacher for a long-term supply position starting Friday, September 4th, 2026, expected to last for the full year. This role involves teaching a class with behaviour needs. The class teacher will have strong behaviour management and also a great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum. This is a part-time position offering a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to contribute to your Teacher pension.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Key Stage 2 pupils with behavioural needs.
  • Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, particularly in environments with behavioural needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Proficient in planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to students with additional needs.
