Cabling Decommissioning Technician
Location: UK Wide
Rate: £300-£350 per day (Outside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP

We're currently supporting a UK wide legacy infrastructure decommissioning programme for some of the UK largest telecoms providers and we are on the lookout for experienced Cabling Decommissioning Technicians to join the team!

This is a hands-on field-based role ideal for someone with strong technical skills and experience removing legacy coaxial infrastructure from headed and switch room environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

Recovering and removing coaxial cabling from overhead trays and switch rooms
Conducting basic signal testing to confirm circuit disconnection
Working at height using ladders or platforms (safety-first approach)
Labelling and documenting recovered cables and hardware
What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in coax or telecom decommissioning
Comfortable working at heights and in structured cabling environments
Able to work independently and follow technical procedures
Flexible and reliable with strong attention to detail
