Learning Support Assistant - Lewisham - Secondary School - September Start

Remedy Education are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Lewisham from September. This full-time, long-term role involves working closely with students who require additional support, including those with SEN and EHCPs.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis across various subjects

Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment

Helping students overcome barriers to learning and promoting independence

Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to teaching staff

Requirements:

Experience supporting students with SEN in a secondary school setting

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Patient, adaptable, and committed to student development

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
