A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door installers/engineers to join their team and work on a nationwide basis. You will be working on commercial projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works to existing doors and frames. The works will be based in Swindon but it is a nationwide role and you will be expected to travel and stay away. You will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card and looking to get guys started beginning of June.

The successful candidate will have:

- At least two years experience working with fire doors

- A strong background in carpentry and joinery

- NVQ or equivalent in carpentry

- Experience installing fire doors and frames

- Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames

- Experience working on social housing FRA contracts

- Full UK driving license

- 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired)

What's on offer?

* £40,000 - £45,000 (higher end possible if FIRAS or BM TRADA certified)

* Fire door works on mostly commercial properties (Hospitals, universities, student accommodation, privately owned residential blocks)

* Installing pre-fabricated sets and carrying out remedial works to existing doors and frames

* NVQ 2 in carpentry, CSCS card and a full UK driving license

* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check

* Nationwide travel

* Accommodation costs covered

* Overnight allowance of £25.00 per night when staying away

* Company vehicle and fuel card
