Junior Platform Analyst
Location: Belfast, UK
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
We're working with a fast-growing fintech company based in Belfast that provides sophisticated data services to global clients. They're hiring a Junior Platform Analyst - a brilliant opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to build a career in financial technology and support.
You'll work closely with global teams across support, infrastructure, and data operations, helping clients and internal users get the most out of a complex platform that powers real-time trading decisions. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with lots of training and development - ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and working with technology.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide client-facing support via phone, chat, and email, using remote access tools and in-house platforms
Monitor overnight data processes and run quality checks, addressing any errors or reprocessing as needed
Communicate early-morning updates to clients and escalate any issues affecting system availability
Support onboarding for new clients by configuring user access and platform permissions
Investigate technical issues, including system connectivity and data delivery
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve trading and integration queries
Carry out quality assurance checks on internal tools and document outcomes
Maintain clear and up-to-date support documentation and internal knowledge bases
Manage support tickets using Jira and escalate where needed
Contribute to onboarding and training of new team members
What They're Looking For
A 2:1 (minimum) or higher in a degree such as Finance, Economics, Maths, Computer Science, or similar
- Minimum of 2 A's at A Level.
Prior experience in a support or service role is a plus but not essential
Ability to think critically and manage time effectively under pressure
Some exposure to SQL and/or Python would be helpful
Experience using support tools such as Jira or Confluence is advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
Interest in financial markets or trading environments
Must be able to work full-time from the Belfast office
