Our well established client, based in Hatfield, requires Category CE (HGV Class 1 Drivers) to help its busy operational distribution to stores. AM and PM shifts and weekend work are available. You will be working for one the largest clothing and home retailers in the UK, delivering to their stores on day shifts, or trunking to their distribution centres on night shifts. Delivery of caged goods in their clean well maintained fleet of vehicles. Full training provided and written and driving assessment would need to be taken on site. HGV Experience required.

LGV Class 1 driver Main duties will include:

• Delivery of caged goods to Stores or Distribution Centres 

• Making sure your load is safe and all vehicle and trailer checks are completed

• Completion of all delivery paperwork from client to store

LGV Class 1 driver Various shifts during Monday to Sunday 

• AM Days start times from 04:00 onwards - Adhoc 2-3 shifts per week

• PM Days start times from 13:00 onwards - Adhoc 2-3 shifts per week

LGV Class 1 driver Pay Rates:

• Monday to Sunday AM Days shift - PAYE Pay Rate £20.95 per hour 

• AM Overtime after 8 hours per day £31.42 per hour 

• Monday to Sunday PM Days shift - PAYE Pay Rate £22.50 per hour 

• PM Overtime after 8 hours per day £33.75 per hour
