Role Responsibilities

As a SEN Teacher, you will deliver personalised, inclusive lessons to children with a range of learning needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD), and Complex Learning Needs (CLD).

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Creating and teaching differentiated lessons to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that follow the P Scales framework.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement.
  • Using creative and resilient teaching strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Assisting students with personal care routines as needed.

Candidate Requirements

  • You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The legal right to work in the UK is required (we cannot offer sponsorship).
  • You must have a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Previous experience supporting SEN pupils in UK schools is essential.
  • Strong behavior management and communication skills are a must.
  • The ability to work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, is necessary.
