Axon Moore are supporting a listed business based in West Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Group Financial Accountant

This is a hands on and varied role to support the Group Financial Controller in the lead up to year end.

The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:

Production of statutory consolidated and individual entity accounts including related notes
To participate and lead on financial accounting & reporting activities across the Group and to ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice
To take responsibility for the accuracy & presentation of PLC company internal reporting
Managing the consolidation model
To support with UK taxation requirements

The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:

• Qualified Accountant, preferably ACA or ACCA from a Practice background
• Technical accounting experience including statutory accounts and group consolidations
• Strong Excel skills

This is a 6-9 month appointment.
