About the Role

As Head of Quality, you'll play a central role in ensuring the organisation's assessments are robust, compliant, and of the highest standard. Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll oversee all internal and external quality assurance activities and lead a freelance team of IQAs and EQAs.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the implementation of the organisation's Centre Assess Scrutiny Strategy (CASS)

*

Conducting audits across assessment centres and delivery sites

*

Ensuring standardisation, compliance, and timely assessment outcomes

*

Managing capacity planning and forecasting for your quality team

*

Collaborating with internal teams to embed quality improvements and respond to regulatory changes

*

Upholding the organisation's reputation for delivering exceptional service and compliance

About You

You'll already be working in a senior quality role within an Awarding Organisation or EPAO, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and qualification delivery.

You will bring:

Strong experience in quality leadership within an awarding or assessment setting

*

A successful track record in managing teams and QA processes

*

In-depth knowledge of CASS, IQA/EQA strategies, and regulatory compliance

*

Experience in EPA and apprenticeships

*

A quality-related or leadership qualification (desirable)

*

Ideally, a working knowledge of vocational education sectors
