A highly successful power supplies business is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to have a stake in the continued evolution of the company. You will play a key role transitioning from 2D AutoCAD to SolidWorks for schematics and 3D Geometry.

Requirements

* Strong background as an Electrical Engineer

* SolidWorks Electrical

* AutoCAD

* Strong understanding of electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring regulations

* Awareness of mechanical design integration and familiarity with 3D modelling

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, BOM structures, and documentation best practices

Bonus

* Experience in control panel design and wiring schematics

Role

* Be apart of the role transitioning from 2D AutoCAD to SolidWorks for schematics and 3D Geometry.

* Take customer requirements and translate them into detailed specifications

* Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

* Collaborate closely with mechanical, software and systems engineers to integrate full control systems

* Support the development of vendor relationships, ensuring quality and adherence to specs

* Produce high-quality documentation including BOMs, layouts, and electrical calculation

* Present and discuss design ideas with both internal teams and suppliers

* Contribute to ongoing product development by addressing complex design challenges
