Complex SEN Outreach Tutor needed in Havering and surrounding areas

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced and compassionate Complex SEN Outreach Tutor to deliver tailored 1:1 education programmes to children and young people unable to attend school due to a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Havering and surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated education professional who is confident in planning and delivering engaging, individualised lessons outside the traditional classroom environment. Your role will be to help pupils build confidence, make academic progress, and reintegrate into structured learning.

Many of the young people you'll support will have complex SEN. Due to the nature of these needs, patience, creativity, and trauma-informed practice are essential. These pupils may have experienced disrupted education, so your ability to re-engage them through personalised teaching is key.
