Job: CNC Setter Operator - Star Sliding Head

Location: West Bromwich

Working Hours: Late shift Hours 4pm - 2am Monday to Thursday 10 hours x 4 days

Salary: £22 per hour which includes shift allowance (£45,760 per annum)

Key Responsibilities:

* Set and operate Star Sliding Head CNC lathes using Fanuc controls

* Work to tight tolerances producing batch components

* Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications

* Conduct first-off inspections and ensure quality throughout production

* Collaborate with engineers and programmers to optimize machining processes

* Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health & Safety regulations

Skills & Experience Required:

* Proven experience with Star or Citizen sliding head lathes

* Ability to set and operate CNC machines

* Familiarity with live tooling and multi-axis lathes

* Strong understanding of Fanuc control systems Benefits:
