The Electrician role:
- We’re committed to keeping you safe, happy and supported, therefore Health and Safety is paramount throughout the responsibilities of this role, for you, us, and the customer.
- Conduct reactive response maintenance works such as electrical repair, maintenance, and breakdowns.
- Complete on-going electrical testing (EICRs)
- Conducting post inspections on works that have been conducted
- You may also get involved with our other work streams; this may include void properties
- Repairs, rewire, testing and general upgrade works of void properties before they are re-let and planned programmed works too.
What will you bring as an Electrician?
- Qualified to an NVQ 3 level as an Electrician or similar professional body (e.g., City & Guilds), 18th Edition wiring regulations certificate, and AM2 is essential
- Must have experience undertaking full and partial rewires.
- 2391 Testing and Inspection (or equivalent)
- Exceptional professional and friendly customer service skills – the ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of domestic environments
- Experience of working on social housing planned works ie kitchen and bathroom replacements – the ability to manage your own time, work as part of a team, and work to tight deadlines and programmes.
- Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Electrician role, with use of a company van and fuel card.
