An opportunity to lead High-Stakes Advisory for OMBs & Large Corporates!

Ready to work at the epicenter of Corporate Tax advisory? My client's Corporate and Business Tax team are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join their dynamic City office, where you'll collaborate directly with senior management, partners, and their in-house commercial and private client solicitors.

Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager

Location: London Office, W1T

Salary: Up to £75,000!

Your Responsibilities -

Complex Corporate Transactions:

  • Structure sophisticated deals: s.110 reconstructions, statutory demergers, company share repurchases
  • Advise OMBs and large corporates on tax relief availability
  • Collaborate with appointed legal practices to preserve desired tax outcomes
  • Apply comprehensive tax knowledge across corporation tax, income tax, CGT, VAT, and stamp duty/SDLT

High-Value Advisory Services:

  • Prepare tax valuations and HMRC clearance letters
  • Manage full-scope tax due diligence projects
  • Advise on employee share incentives (EMI schemes) with HMRC valuation reports
  • Guide clients on EIS/SEIS qualifying conditions and advance assurance submissions

Technical Excellence:

  • Deliver technical tax analysis through clear, coherent written reports
  • Review junior team members' work ensuring accuracy before partner delivery
  • Manage advice delivery process and ensure quality standards

Strategic Compliance Support:

  • Review complex corporation tax returns for groups and international clients
  • Support General Practice with annual computations and technical queries
  • Supervise team members handling various compliance areas

The Individual -

  • CTA qualified (mandatory)
  • ACA/ACCA and ATT preferred but not essential
  • Extensive post-qualification experience
  • Solid knowledge of income tax self-assessment, PAYE, and Corporation Tax compliance
  • Understanding of accountancy principles
  • Advanced Excel and Word proficiency
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Ability to supervise compliance procedures across multiple tax areas
  • Team player who takes ownership and drives tasks to completion
  • Creative thinker generating innovative ideas for technical work and business development
  • Organized and motivated with strong prioritization and time management
  • Enthusiastic learner who delivers to agreed timescales and budgets
  • Relationship builder who develops personal rapport and wins client trust
