Role Requirements & Responsibilities Main day to day interface with the non-retail customer base and driving growth opportunities in this ; Supporting the team to deliver service and quality to both external and internal customers.
Customers & Suppliers Promote, develop, and maintain good working relationships with all customers & suppliers Meet customer & supplier information deadlines and ensure information is always accurate and correct Order Processing Ensure orders for non-retail customers are processed correctly and on time.
Effectively lead and communicate customer needs with Category Exec & LMF team to ensure raw material planning fits requirements.
Be responsible for communicating and dealing with any availability or supply chain issues that affect the non-retail customers.
Ensure volumes, pallet rates, prices and branch plants are always correct in JDE.
Update trackers such as service level & performance trackers as required.
Effectively communicate new line launches, restarts and product delists to the Business.
Product Management Plan, track and manage raw material for sliced mushroom lines produced at Barway.
Ensure accurate recording of stocks and usage and liaise and provide a raw material plan for category Exec to then include in weekly supplier programmes.
Monitor giveaway & stock loss and where applicable communicate any claims to Category Administrator and Category Exec to ensure raw material invoices are adjusted.
Work with Barway operational teams to develop and successfully launch new lines and Business Development.
Work closely with LMF team to ensure organic requirements for box schemes are being covered Assist the set-up of new KPI’s needing to be developed as the business grows and new suppliers/products/customers come in.
Account Management Liaise and work closely with the Category Executive to cover day-to-day requirements.
On a daily basis record all customer rejections, shortages, cover and late deliveries in the databases already ; Collate presentations and data for customer visits and meetings with guidance from the Category Manager.
Understand cost models and support with information gathering to compile costs for new business development.
Monitor and forecast sales for non-retail customer base and actively participate in availability meetings.
Input sales forecasts (price & volume) for budgets.
Support Category Manager with developing and achieving business strategy growth and development of food manufacturing customers, alongside the current customer base.
Candidate Requirements Computer Literate – a confident user of all MS programmes Effective communicator in a customer-facing role – both written and verbal Excellent organisation, attention to detail and planning skills Proven ability to make decisions independently Experience in a similar role is advantageous Hours: 40 hours/week – 5 days
