Job Title - Counterbalance FLT Operator
Site location - Macclesfield
Responsible to - Shift Manager
Purpose of the role - To support the warehouse, Stock Rotation, Replenishment of customer goods and loading and unloading of HGV's with the safe operation of Counterbalance FLT and use of hand scanners.
Client brief - Our client is a world-renowned Warehousing organisation supporting blue chip companies with warehousing and distribution functions.

KEY INFORMATION

Reason for vacancy - Increased Demand
Hourly Rate - £12.21ph
Shifts - Monday to Friday 6am-4pm

Overtime - Regular optional overtime available also, all hours over 45 paid @1.5x basic rate
Holidays - Accrual
Facilities - Long standing operation very well kept offering excellent facilities including free on-site parking, canteen areas (inclusive of all kitchen facilities and vending machines)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role - Our client is looking for Counterbalance FLT Operator to support their existing team in their Ambient (room temperature) Warehousing Operation in Macclesfield. As a Counterbalance Operator, the requirements are varied but not limited to -

* Accurately and safely operating a Counterbalance Truck within site health and safety requirements at all times.

* Rotating stock, storing and collecting products from pallets with use of Counterbalance FLT & handheld scanners.

* Loading and unloading HGV's

* Working within a team to complete daily warehouse targets.

* Delivering a high standard of productivity at all times to ensure smooth operation within the warehouse.

* Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail.

* All other generalist warehousing duties.

Key Skills Required -

* Previous experience operating Counterbalance FLT is essential.

* In date Counterbalance FLT license is essential.

* Previous experience with handscanners is essential.

* Must be reliable and committed.

* Must be able to communicate in English to a high standard (verbal and written).
