We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team in Retford.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teachers and helping pupils reach their full potential. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, confident working with children, and eager to contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in and out of the classroom, both individually and in small groups

• Assisting teachers in preparing learning materials and classroom resources

• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to manage classroom dynamics

• Providing support to pupils with additional needs when required

• Helping to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environment

Requirements:

• Experience working in a school setting is essential

• A patient, reliable, and flexible approach to working with children

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate are desirable but not essential
