This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop into a paraplanning role within a 12- month period and build a long-term career in financial planning within a supportive and professional environment.

If you are passionate about financial planning, interested in the human side of the profession, and want to be part of a small but high-performing team, this role could be your next step.

About You

  • Passed a minimum of 2-3 RO exams and actively working towards your Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced in supporting advisers in a genuine financial planning environment (as opposed to product-led).
  • Experience processing pensions, ISAs, general accounts, and bonds via platforms (ideally Nucleus or Transact, but not essential).
  • Capable of managing a sizeable workload, using initiative to solve problems, and embracing change.
  • Passionate about financial planning and interested in both the technical and human aspects of the role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to one or more advisers, playing a key role in the adviser’s pod.
  • Process new business applications for pensions and investments via Nucleus, Transact, or other platforms.
  • Assist with client onboarding and administrative tasks arising from planning meetings.
  • Liaise with clients to support the delivery of a genuine financial planning service.
  • Prepare first drafts of simple suitability reports using templates.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, including trialling and implementing new technology.
  • Learn all aspects of real financial planning in preparation for a move into paraplanning (subject to progress and development).

The Package

  • Competitive salary plus annual bonus linked to company profitability.
  • Pension, life assurance, income protection, and private medical insurance.
  • 25 days holiday, plus the office closes between Christmas and New Year.
  • Opportunity to develop into a paraplanning role and progress your career in financial planning.

If you are a detail-oriented, ambitious administrator passionate about financial planning and looking for a long-term career in a supportive and growing team, we’d love to hear from you.
