We are currently recruiting an experienced General Foreman for an established highland-based civil engineering firm.

The successful candidate would ideally be based locally with the initial project being near Inverness but willing to work away from home in future.

The client would consider both permanent and freelance candidates.

Duties would include but not be limited to the following:

* Oversee site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely.

* Conduct daily briefings and tool box talks

* Monitor work progress and report to the Site Manager.

* Address and resolve any issues that arise.

* Prioritise safety by conducting regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring staff are appropriately trained, with correct tools and safety gear.

* Achieve quality standards.
