We are recruiting Van Driver 3.5t on behalf of some established delivery companies across  Southampton who are recruiting for LTD or Self Employed Van Courier Drivers to deliver parcels and packages to residential and business properties in allocated postcodes. Physical fitness  is important as you will be responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle and entering properties that will involve using stairs etc.

Pay Rate £150 - £226 Per Day for Van Driver 3.5 ton

Key information for applicants:-

Average of 9 hours a day.
Start times between (phone number removed)pm each day - these times can be variable depending on needs of business.
Weekend work is essential.
Smart work attire is required - no branded clothing/safety shoes etc
Role involves loading and unloading of own van on daily basis and approx. 90-120 drops on fixed geographical routes. Some collections involved.
Majority of our clients are looking for owner drivers with all relevant insurances.
We are working with clients who can provide vans daily and also rentals if you do not own a vehicle. Prices are avail upon application.
Full time & Part time work avail
Self Employed or LTD company only. Not suitable for PAYE
Third party providers are available for those wishing to go either Self Employed or LTD
Applicants will be driving a 3.5 ton vehicle - previous experience of multi-drop is desired
DBS Check will be required prior to commencing employment.
Bonus schemes available to enhance weekly rate and seasonal incentives during peak periods
Licence checks required at application and proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.
Successful applicants will be required to attend an interview with the client. Training is approx. 4 days and is paid.
Drug and Alcohol test will be required before training commences and random test carried out during employment.
For 3.5 ton van driver owner drivers:-

Fuel Expense range from (phone number removed)p per mile
Most clients invoice a week in arrears
Self-Billing available
Full training provided for systems and time is paid for at a training rate prior to commencing the role.
For Self Employed drivers or newly self employed:-

Vehicles can be provided by most of our clients that involve weekly rental charges. This enables you to benefit from higher daily rates
Some clients also provide vehicles that can be returned to the depot daily at no extra cost and fuel is covered. Daily rates reflect this.
Company schemes are available to enhance pay
Full training is given and paid for with some clients offering reduced workload for first few runs for people with no experience.
