Job Opportunity: Children's Residential Support Worker - Coventry
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum + Sleep-in shift allowance (£60 per sleep)
Shift Pattern: 7:30am - 10:00pm on a rolling rota of 2 days on, 4 days off (Sleep-in shifts required)

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real impact on their lives? We are recruiting a Children's Residential Support Worker for a solo provision in Coventry to work with a young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping to shape a brighter future for a young person in need of support.

As part of your role, you will provide high-quality, tailored care in a nurturing environment, helping the young person manage their emotional and behavioural challenges. You'll also receive the incredible opportunity to be enrolled on a Youth Worker Degree Apprenticeship right away, enabling you to earn and learn in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one support to a young person with EBD in a solo provision.

* Assist with daily tasks, including life skills, personal care, and social activities.

* Promote positive behaviour, emotional development, and well-being.

* Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment for the young person.

* Work with a multi-disciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, and education professionals, to support the young person's holistic development.

* Keep clear and accurate records of the young person's progress, behaviour, and day-to-day activities.

About You:

* Passionate about supporting young people, especially those with complex needs.

* Able to build strong, trusting relationships with young people, particularly in challenging situations.

* Experience in residential care, or a similar setting.

* Comfortable working a rolling shift pattern, including sleep-in shifts.

* Patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenges.
