Finance Director | Walkden | £100,000 to £120,000 + benefits | Manufacturing | Strategic Leadership RoleAxon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a successful manufacturing business in Walkden to recruit a Finance Director. This is a key leadership appointment, working directly with the Managing Director to shape the future direction of the business.The Finance Director will take full ownership of the finance function, providing both strategic and operational leadership. This role will suit an ambitious, commercially astute qualified accountant who thrives in a hands-on environment and is motivated by driving business performance.The role:

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, providing financial insight and challenge to support decision-making
• Lead the finance team and oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting and compliance
• Drive commercial performance across the business through analysis, planning and KPIs
• Develop and implement robust systems, processes and controls to support growth
• Play a key role in shaping long-term strategy, investment decisions and operational improvements

What we’re looking for:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with proven senior finance leadership experience
• Strong background in manufacturing or a similar complex, operational environment
• Commercially minded with the ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders
• Hands-on approach with the drive to deliver both strategic initiatives and day-to-day improvements
• Track record of building and developing high-performing teams
