About the Role:

We are seeking a Building Safety Case Manager to lead a key building safety workstream, managing a team of Building Safety Coordinators. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support process development, ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act, and liaise with clients, leaseholders, and internal stakeholders to maintain safe and compliant buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line manage and support a team of Building Safety Coordinators who are gathering safety case information, ensuring Regulatory deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Have oversight of building safety compliance, including inspections, defect identification, and reporting of building safety risks via systems such as QUOODA.
  • Act as first point of contact for complex queries and client instructions, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, leaseholders, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor and track project progress, preparing reports for senior management.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, team training, and adherence to administrative and compliance procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with building safety legislation, the Building Safety Act, and industry best practices.

Report on income, forecasting and ensuring that all income is billed in accordance with     agreed procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in line management of direct reports
  • Proven experience in a client facing role, being able to  demonstrate how to meet but also manage multiple client expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of building safety, health & safety legislation, and property management. Being able to evidence this during interview along with discussing how you keep up to date on any changes
  • Experience with compliance systems (e.g., QUOODA, Riskwise) and strong IT skills in programmes such as Microsoft 365 applications
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, leaseholders, and colleagues at all levels. This must include face to face, email and written communication to all stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, plan resource, review workload of the team, delegating as needed.
  • Experience in being able to meet Regulatory deadlines (i.e. Regulator or Fire Service)
  • IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH (either general cert or fire safety cert)qualification (or willingness to undertake).
