Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about food quality and safety? Looking to build your career in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with real opportunities to grow?

We're looking for a Technical Administrator to join our dynamic Site Technical Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance are met across site operations.

About the role

As Technical Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our technical operations—supporting quality systems, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll help ensure we meet all legal, customer, and internal standards, while driving a culture of food safety and quality across the site.

Key responsibilities

Quality & Compliance

* Maintain and manage the Quality Management System (QMS)

* Control and audit all technical documentation and records

* Support internal and external audits, including BRC standards

* Carry out CCP checks, internal audits, and traceability exercises

* Manage quarantine processes and trackers

Data, Reporting & Analysis

* Produce daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports

* Analyse trends and support KPI reporting

* Monitor product quality scoring and identify improvement areas

Technical Administration

* Manage customer complaints from investigation through to resolution

* Maintain lab schedules (micro, environmental, nutritional testing)

* Handle sample collection, logging, and result tracking

* Raise POs, track budgets, and manage department costs

* Support specification administration and supplier documentation

Food Safety & Training

* Support HACCP systems and food safety processes

* Help maintain training matrices and ensure compliance

* Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across site

What we're looking for

* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

* Confident communicator across all levels

* Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends

* Proactive, methodical, and improvement-focused

* Able to work independently and under pressure

Experience & Qualifications

* Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG (preferred)

* Understanding of food safety and quality principles
