Overview

A leading healthcare infrastructure contractor is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to support the delivery of critical infrastructure and lifecycle replacement projects within a major hospital setting in East London. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on meaningful healthcare developments.

You will be operating in live hospital environments, where safety, professionalism, and high standards of workmanship are essential. The role involves installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems as part of multi-disciplinary healthcare-focused MEP packages.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out electrical installation works in accordance with BS7671 (18th Edition)

* Support project delivery in live clinical environments

* Conduct initial verification, inspection, and testing in line with current regulations (C&G #removed#)

* Adhere to health & safety and infection control procedures

* Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams, and NHS stakeholders

* Complete all required documentation and certification accurately

Essential Qualifications

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS7671)

* City & Guilds #removed# (Inspection & Testing - Initial Verification)

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Valid CSCS or ECS Card

Desirable Experience

* Experience working in live NHS hospital environments

* Knowledge of HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) standards and compliance
