We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the Hedge End area. You'll be working with a fun- loving Year 2 class within which, there are a range of additional needs. You will need to be able be positive, enthusiastic and an advocate of lifelong learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working in a school setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A nurturing, positive approach with a passion for supporting children's learning
The ability to adapt and respond to individual pupil needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and supportive learning experiences
Work in Year 2
Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs
Provide full class support where needed
Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to reach their full potential
Work collaboratively with class teachers and other staff
Be actively involved in wider school life, including events and enrichment activities
