An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Contracts Manager with a mechanical bias to join a well-established M&E subcontractor working exclusively within the residential sector. With a turnover of circa £50 million and a solid pipeline of work secured, this is a prime position for a candidate seeking long-term career growth.

This contractor has built a strong reputation delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical installations for leading residential developers, including Berkeley Group, Taylor Wimpey, and Vistry Group. With a robust order book, they are positioned for continued growth and seek a dynamic Contracts Manager to play a key role in delivering major residential schemes across London and the South East.

The Role

As the M&E Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing multiple residential projects, ensuring the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical packages from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing multiple live projects across London and the Home Counties

*

Overseeing M&E installations with a focus on mechanical systems

*

Coordination with clients, consultants, and site teams

*

Ensuring health & safety, quality, and programme targets are met

*

Procurement of subcontractors and materials

*

Regular progress meetings and reporting to senior management

*

Driving projects from inception through to final commissioning and handover

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an M&E or Mechanical Contracts Manager within residential projects

*

Mechanically biased background (trade or engineering qualifications advantageous)

*

Strong technical understanding of M&E systems and coordination

*

Experience working with or for major residential developers

*

Excellent leadership, commercial awareness, and client-facing skills

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Basic Salary: £100,000+ (negotiable based on experience)
