A fantastic opportunity exists for a Commercial Manager to join a contractor in Ipswich.

The company operate across a number of disciplines including commercial, industrial, education & healthcare sectors, and wishes to bolster their team with a senior commercial professional.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with NEC contracts and exposure to working on a range of project types as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working for a main contractor or specialist contractor.

Duties will include

* On-site measurement and measurement of drawings as required.

* Monitoring contract costs against budgets - company financial reporting.

* Identifying potential risks and evaluate options for control.

* Preparation of estimates.

* Analysing sub-contract quotations.

* Preparation and agreeing variation accounts.

* Preparation and agreeing of interim valuations and final accounts.

* Prepare and issue certification for contract payments to sub-contractors.

* Providing evidence for resolution of disputes.

* Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.
