We are seeking a Driver for a small event company, specialising in delivering high-quality desserts from our production unit to nearby hotels and restaurants. This role requires a meticulous individual who can handle delicate items with care. The position is ideal for someone organised, detail-oriented, and looking for a steady part-time job.
Day-to-day of the role: - Safely transport desserts from the production unit to various local destinations including hotels and restaurants.
- Ensure all deliveries are handled with care and arrive in perfect condition.
- Maintain punctuality and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules as outlined.
- Comply with all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Must own a valid driving licence for at least 1 year with a clean driving record.
- Proven work experience as a Driver.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the safe transport of delicate desserts.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to carry and transport items with care.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations.
