TeamJobs are working with an established and expanding company in the commercial catering and refrigeration sector. We're now looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support their customers across the South of England.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial catering & refrigeration equipment (ovens, fryers, water boilers, fridges, freezers, ice machines, blast chillers, warewashing, etc.)

Diagnosing faults and delivering timely, high-quality repairs

Installing catering and refrigeration appliances where required

Supporting trainee engineers and contributing to team development

Managing and maintaining accurate van stock levels

Providing excellent customer service and professional communication

Area covered: Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Surrey, Berkshire and West Sussex.

What You Need

Essential:

COMCAT 1, 2, 3, 5

Gas Safe registered (Commercial Catering)

Electrical qualification (18th Edition, City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 or equivalent)

3+ years' experience in commercial catering engineering

Strong fault-finding skills

Good communication, customer service and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

F-Gas qualification

Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
