Position: Embroidery Lead
Shift: 1st shift
Pay: $15-20/hr. 

Embroidery Lead Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the screen printing and embroidery, optimizing daily production based on scheduled orders.
  • Optimize and streamline production for maximize profitability
  • Perform press checks and embroidery setup checks prior to apparel production to reduce waste, errors and omissions.
  • Perform verification of receiving to match purchase orders.
  • Assist with creation and implementation of Quality Control measures for Screen Printing and Embroidery
  • Assist with training and development of Screen Print Associates
  • Along with the owner do, department evaluations and performance reviews
  • Ensure Associates are following all safety protocols in production areas
  • Work with production to ensure deadlines are being met/exceeded
  • Management of day-to-day screen printing & embroidery workflows
  • Help develop and implement strategies and training toward accomplishing organizational goals and values
  • Manage + maintain a high-level of overall quality, including pre-press print files, digitized embroidery files and quality of equipment
  • Ensure that operators are on-task and work is getting done in a safe, timely, and high-quality manner
  • Clearly communicate with upper management and teams outside of the department throughout the day
  • Present information clearly and concisely at daily production meetings and weekly MKE meetings.
  • Develop and implement new policies & procedures. Monitor daily productions and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary
  • Various other responsibilities on an as-needed basis


Sales:

  • Manage new and existing customer accounts
  • Contact old customers and revisit the relationship
  • Develop “outside the box” revenue streams
  • Develop new clients based on cold calls, visitations, and emails
  • Address client concerns regarding discrepancies, etc.
  • Respond to email, website and phone leads for larger orders
  • Sell, develop, source and manage web stores
  • Verify team member orders for accuracy prior to ordering to prevent errors
  • Process artwork and digitizing until we reach a level where we can hire an artist
  • Continually maintains a thorough knowledge of all company products, catalog contents, field sales personnel and any promotional items.

Other:

  • Develop vendor relationships
  • Troubleshoot order problems
  • Approves all incoming invoices and credit card statements for Dave C.
  • Researches and resolves accounts receivable issues.
  • Train staff how to maintain operations in owner absence
  • Train sales staff on basic illustrator usage so they can create mockups
  • Participate in the interview and hiring process of new staff applicants and make employment recommendations
  • Coach and develop all team members
  • Take a proactive approach to cross training and ensure that the department is adequately staffed
  • Assist with preparing and delivering annual performance evaluations and monitor mid-year performance for all team members. Everyone wants to know how they’re doing, what we expect from them and how to improve
