Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about contributing to the educational development of children and providing targeted support in a dynamic classroom environment.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Prepare the classroom for each session in collaboration with class teachers.
• Provide targeted support to students either in small groups or individually as needed.
• Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and record-keeping.
• Support the management of student behaviour, creating a positive learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
• Strong ability to build relationships and effectively manage classroom behaviour.
• Empathetic and caring nature, with a professional approach towards all students.
• Experience working with special needs students is highly desirable.
• Must possess at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
• Current Enhanced DBS Certificate.
• Available to start work from Easter.
