Our client, is currently seeking a Drainage Engineer (Design & Water Management) to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based in Hampshire and offers the opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering drainage design and flood management solutions for highways, property, and development projects.
Designing highway drainage systems in compliance with DMRB standards for ETE projects.
Working on LLFA/S278/S38/S106 drainage projects and checking designs as part of a mixed workload.
Designing foul and surface water drainage systems according to Building Regulations and Sewers for Adoption guidelines.
Specialist design of small packaged sewage treatment plants and drainage fields/mounds/outfalls.
Flood modelling of both pluvial and fluvial sources.
Using AutoCAD/Civils 3D or Causeway Live/PDS for design tasks.
Drafting contracts in SHW (Highways England) and/or NBS formats.

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in drainage design for highways and development projects.
Experience with LLFA/S278/S38/S106 processes and requirements.
Understanding of Building Regulations and Sewers for Adoption for drainage design.
Skills in the design of sewage treatment plants and associated drainage solutions.
Competency in flood modelling techniques.
Experience with AutoCAD/Civils 3D or Causeway Live/PDS.
Ability to write contracts following SHW (Highways England) and/or NBS formats.
A valid driving licence (category B) for car use.
