We are working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing and logistics company in Poole who are looking to add a Production Packer & Case Maker to their team. This is a permanent opportunity with an established local business that is growing!

The Role

You will play a key part in supporting daily operations, ensuring customer orders are packed, protected, and prepared to the highest standards. Duties include:

• Packing items using various methods, including foil sealing, shrink wrapping, palletising, and boxing
• Manufacturing wooden packaging and crates using cutting machinery and power tools
• Loading and unloading goods using mechanical handling equipment
• General maintenance and housekeeping around the workshop
• Delivering and collecting goods using company vehicles
• Occasionally working on customer premises
• Supporting the Production Manager with day-to-day expectations

Skills & Experience Essential:

• Practical, hands-on experience using tools and/or machinery (e.g., power tools, saws, workshop equipment)
• Comfortable working in a warehouse, workshop, or production environment
• Full UK Driving Licence Manual

Desirable:

• Experience in commercial packing or case-making
• Forklift licence (counterbalance)

Personal qualities:

• Reliable, flexible and able to adapt to changing workloads
• Comfortable with manual labour and physical tasks
• Team player and can do attitude
