Due to growing demand and close partnerships with local schools, we are expanding our pool of Teaching Assistants to work with SEN schools and alternative provisions across Norfolk. This work is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting children and young people with additional needs and thrives in a varied, hands-on roles.
About the Role
Roles vary depending on the school, but typically include:
- Supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs
- 1:1 support, small-group work or general classroom support
- Helping pupils regulate emotions, stay engaged, and develop independence
- Encouraging positive routines and building trust with young people
- Working closely with teachers and support teams
Assignments can be day-to-day, short-term, or long-term depending on your availability and preferences.

- Experience working with children or young people (school-based or alternative settings)
- Confidence supporting those with additional needs
- Patience, resilience, and a calm approach
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt quickly
- A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
