Are you a motivated and experienced retail manager ready to lead a busy charity shop to success? We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a vibrant retail store, delivering great service and driving sales - all while supporting a meaningful cause.

About the role:

As Store Manager, you'll lead a team of staff and volunteers, creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for customers. You'll be responsible for maximising sales, managing stock, and ensuring the smooth and safe running of the shop. This is a rewarding opportunity to combine your retail management expertise with a role that makes a real difference to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing, stock management, cash handling, merchandising, and compliance.

* Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive, inclusive environment for shoppers and volunteers alike.

* Set and monitor sales targets, implement strategies to boost shop performance, and ensure financial procedures are followed.

* Recruit, train, and support staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

* Maintain high standards in shop presentation, stock rotation, and donation processing.

* Engage with the local community to promote the shop and drive footfall through creative outreach and events.

About you:

* Proven experience in retail management, ideally in a charity shop or similar environment.

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team.

* A natural problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.

* Confident handling sales reports, stock control systems, and day-to-day administrative tasks.

* Ideally experienced in merchandising and managing end-of-line stock to optimise sales and shop presentation.

* Passionate about working for a cause and making a positive impact through retail.
