Role Overview
As a HGV Mechanic you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing the fleet, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with legal standards. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime and keep fleet operations running smoothly

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out specified works to a range of HGV vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
Diagnose and apply the relevant mechanical repairs.
Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
Road testing the vehicles to check the repairs work.
Deal with unscheduled repairs and checks as they arise.
Service the vehicles and maintain service records sheets.
Key Skills:

· Service industry experience

· Ability to work as part of a team.

· Problem solving mentality.

· Attention to detail in all areas.

· Full UK driving license

· HGV class 2 (desirable)

In Return my client is offering a competitive salary up to 40k. Overtime is paid at time 1/2. Working hours are 07:30-17:00 Mon-Fri
