Special Needs Teacher/Tutor for Specialist College

We have a fantastic, permanent opportunity for a Teacher who is looking to take the next step in their career. The college offers a wide range of programmes tailored to each students needs including Art, Animal Studies, Business, DofE, English, ICT, Living Skills, Retail - and many more!
You would be employed to exhibit exemplary teaching skills, incorporating Preparation for Adulthood curriculum themes through practical differentiated delivery.The ideal teacher would have the ability to deliver a range of accredited and non-accredited qualifications and outcomes. Personal tutors are responsible for ensuring their tutees are progressing across all curriculum areas as expected, maximizing the development of skills which are transferable to a variety of real-life situations and contexts in preparation for adulthood
The right candidate will have the following:
PGCE/Cert Ed/QTS with subject specialism
experience teaching learners with MLD, SLD and/or Autism
An enthusiasm and passion for the role
Excellent organisational skills
Effective behaviour management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
