My client are looking for an experienced selfstarting and wellrounded network engineer to join an IT Readiness project cell to help the organisation in preparation for Disaster Recovery.

The successful applicant will be working with a team who are responsible for creating service catalogues and service recovery plans to ensure that the IT arm of the organisation are equipped to deal with natural or humaninduced network shortages or other disasters. You will be liaising with the business users to document requirements and work closely with BAs to help them understand the current processes and protocols. As the project moves on, you will be validating the service users with the plans, working with BAs and technicians to create schedules along with setting up and enacting test runs.

You will be working closely with a small team and across the IT infrastructure to ensure that tools and procedures are in place to successfully recover any disasters.

**Essential experience with:**

- 5 years + working as a network engineer
- Solid understanding and experience working with Cisco products
- CCNP qualified or equivalent experience
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong understanding of processes and protocols
- Ability to successfully translate between technical and business users (E.g. BAS/PMs)

- Demonstrable will to add value
- Be adaptable and flexible
- Experience of working on Disaster Recovery before
