We are seeking a skilled Wireman to join a production and assembly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical racks and panels to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and wiring schedules. This role involves hands-on electrical assembly, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out point-to-point wiring of electrical panels, racks, and assemblies.

Perform cable crimping, cutting, stripping, terminating, and looming.

Wire and install relays, isolators, contactors, and associated components.

Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Mark out, drill, and prepare panels and enclosures prior to assembly.

Ensure wiring is completed to internal standards, customer specifications, and industry best practice.

Conduct basic continuity and insulation checks where required.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members to meet production deadlines.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a rack wirer, panel wirer, wireman, or similar role.

Good understanding of electrical components and wiring practices.

Ability to work from detailed drawings and wiring schedules.

Confident with hand tools, crimp tools, cable preparation tools, and workshop machinery.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
