Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director - Super App Platform | London | £230,000 | + executive package

A fast-growing international technology company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director to lead the European expansion of an innovative consumer super app platform.

Headquartered in London, the company is building an integrated digital ecosystem combining communication, social networking, video, live streaming, digital wallet, and e-commerce. Backed by an internationally listed technology group, the business is expanding rapidly across the UK and European markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's strategic growth, product vision, and market expansion across Europe.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Board and major shareholders, you will define the company's long-term strategy and commercial roadmap, while scaling the platform's user base and monetization model.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement the company's mid- to long-term strategy for the UK and European markets
Identify emerging technology and industry trends across mobile, AI, and SaaS ecosystems
Work closely with the Board of Directors and investors to ensure alignment on strategic priorities
Business Growth and Product Development

Lead innovation across the platform's business model, including user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies
Monitor and optimize key performance metrics such as DAU, MAU, ARPU, CAC, LTV, and retention
Partner closely with product and engineering leadership to accelerate the development of the company's super app platform
Investor Relations and Market Development

Lead fundraising initiatives, including investor presentations and financing rounds
Build relationships with venture capital firms, strategic partners, and government stakeholders across the UK and Europe
Represent the company at industry conferences, media engagements, and industry events
Organizational Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing executive team across product, engineering, and operations
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee budgeting, compensation frameworks, compliance, and operational management
Candidate Profile

Minimum 8 years' experience in the technology or digital sector
At least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams of 50+ employees
Strong understanding of app-based business models, including freemium, subscription, and marketplace platforms
Experience raising venture capital funding from seed to Series A or later stages highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to scale consumer technology platforms
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
Languages

Fluent English required
Mandarin advantageous but not essential
