Job Description

Program Description: Oversees direct communications and setup of all AP Vendors. Ensures the accuracy of invoices entered and matched to receiving's in Accounting Software.  Accountable for maintaining all AP records and ensuring that COI's are requested and maintained current in vendor files.  Update corresponding SOP's.

General Accounting Assistance 100%

• Inputting invoice data to ensure vendor payment.

• Processing payments to Vendors.

• Year End 1099 forms and requirements.

• Ensuring employees are reimbursed correctly through Expense Report System as needed.

• Ensuring corporate credit card statements are reconciled with monthly receipts. 

• Ensuring that Vendor Credit Applications are completed and returned. Routing Terms and COI's to VP of Business Management for review and signature. 

• Participate in Year-End Audits.•

Education and/or Experience:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required, Associates in Accounting, Business, or other related discipline or related experience preferred

Beginner Knowledge of accounting theory and procedures

Beginner Knowledge in G/L, accounting theories and financial statements

Intermediate Skill in oral and written communication

Intermediate/Advanced Skill in basic computer functions such as word processors, spreadsheets, and internet usage

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form

Language Abilities:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and work place policies. Ability to analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures and governmental regulations.
