Soraya Recruitment is supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing company in Leicester in the recruitment of a Quality Inspector. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability and progression within an established business.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will carry out hands-on quality inspections across a range of manufactured components. You will use precision measuring tools, identify defects, and ensure that all products meet internal and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on components

*

Use precision measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges

*

Record inspection results and complete all relevant documentation

*

Highlight non-conformances and support corrective action processes

*

Work closely with production teams to maintain high-quality output

*

Ensure compliance with quality procedures and health & safety standards

Requirements

*

Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment

*

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

*

Confident using measuring tools and equipment

*

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

*

Good communication and problem-solving skills
